SCOPE: Help Yepstr understand user behaviour through data analysis and statistics.
PURPOSE: Formulating a data-driven strategy to help Yepstr base strategic developement decision on.
ACTIVITIES:
– Developed web apps and reports using JavaScript and Mixpanel.
– Created and integrated the analytics stack, incl. Parse Server, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and Facebook Analytics.
– Visualized the data-driven strategy with tools such as D3.js
RESULTS: Yepstr was very happy with the strategy I presented which has made them be more aware of their user bahaviour and how to reach the target audience.

–  Explored how the song ‘Uptown Funk’ was a calculated success through the use of crafty composition tools and popular lyric references.
– Explored the role of influencers in the virality of songs as in any other viral product

    SCOPE: Design a logo with a sketch/drawing like feeling.
    PURPOSE: Create a new logo that capture the feel and essence of the non profit organisation’s purpose. The logo is also meant to be the main symbol presented at a new library that is being built in Nepal.
    ACTIVITIES: Draw up skisses based on conversations and examples. Once skisses were discussed and direction was decided, the work to create the final design worked. Revisions, improvement and adjustments to make client happy with result.
    RESULTS: After a couple going back and forth meetings with inputs and feedback from the client, where the client had very specific wishes, we landed in a design that everyone was happy with and that will be used for commercially for the WINGS Foundation and WINGS by David organizations. After this project I’ve learned a lot about working with client specific needs and the importance of aligning expectations.

    SCOPE: Develop an online campaign site.
    PURPOSE: To create an compelling campaign site for NA-KD Fashion Week that will stand out and get people interested in the special offers that was available during this week.
    ACTIVITIES: I was responsible for the entire development of the site. Since the goal and the design of the campaign constantly changed, building a great structure in the code became really important to me. You can see an example of how counters were used to count down the time for the different days by checking out the full project (under Friday) below.
    RESULTS: From the beginning it was suppose to be a small site but I ended up to write 1300 rows of HTML code. It was a lot to do and I worked late nights and weekends but it was super fun and it turned out to be a success which has now landed me a job at NA-KD.

    PURPOSE: NOWO is a company who makes it fun and easy for young people to get started with their pension savings. Based on what we spend today, they help us effortlessly save and grow our money for the future. With a resent shift in their value proposition, they need their website to better reflect the message that they are trying to convey, why I was hired to help them redesign the current website and develop the new site.
    ACTIVITIES: This project is ongoing and the work I´ve done so far include work on the header, mobile version of the header of the homepage, prototyping, presenation, iteration and coding of the front page.
    RESULTS: So far the work is going very well and NOWO is pleased with what is delivered. They´ve even aked me to come in and work more hours.

    IoT Application Concept

    SCOPE: The main idea behind the concept was that finding people who the user could potentially carpool with should be entirely passive. The only thing the user has to do is to drive from and to work. Therefore a lot of time went into designing the actual social aspect of the application, the smartphone app.
    PURPOSE: There where three main aspects that I wanted the the app to cover. First the app should give the user sufficient information so that the users themselves could decide wether it is feasible to start a carpool or not with the other user. Secondly deciding things such as meeting points, the driver and which time the users should travel together should be integrated into the app for easy use. Lastly the users should be presented with progress and achievements in order to further motivate the users to continue carpool.
    ACTIVITIES: The project was individual meaning that I was responsible for all the work. There were however groups containing people with similar themes they wanted to explore. The group was used to get feedback towards your design as there were weekly meetings where we would gather to give and receive critique. First of all a state of the art analysis was conducted in order to find out what had been done and where space for new ideas where in the world of Internet of Things and Cities & Transportation. This is where the general idea for the concept came up when I read about vehicle to vehicle communication. Based on this idea som initial low-fidelity sketches using pen and paper was created and critiqued by other designers. I would then move on to a more high-fidelity prototype using Photoshop and Invision, which develeped under several iterations and feedback sessions.
    RESULTS: Since I did not have the resources nor time to create a real life prototype of the concept a video showcasing it was made instead. Due to the resources available I decided to make a stop-motion video with lego which was made with Final Cut Pro X.

    ACTIVITIES: Create a draft for the script, come up with ideas for slides, creata a story board and illustrations, create smooth overlaps, producing the voice over and combine everything in to an intriguing 1.23 min long concept video.
    RESULTS: A great marketing asset, currently live on Upbeater’s page for students “Become an Upbeater“, their social media channels, as well as Vimeo.

      RESULTS: After a series of interactive games with the words and its meaning, I took a used book that I felt connected to and used acrylic gesso to cover the pages and started to search for my words in the book.

      RESULTS: After a great challenge dealing with a platform that didn’t allow us to make the changes and updates we originally anticipated, and having to stick with a special coding language that were crashing a lot, the new website finally took shape and the goal of creating a new fun, engaging and secure user experience was reached.

      SCOPE: Create an infomative and motivational campaign in the format of a video series (in French).
      PURPOSE: To teach youngsters (18-25) about alcohol consumption and the importance to drink with moderation.
      ACTIVITIES:Based on the target audience, our team decided to use Youtubers to get the message across to the youngsters and make them more aware of their alcohol consumption. My role was to help the team come up with the concept for the campaign, scoute and select the Youtubers, and making sure that the Youtubers used matched Educ’Alcool brand image. I was also responsible for the client, which involved being the link between the realisatior/producer and the client, and follow up to make sure the project was meeting the client’s expectations.
      RESULTS: The client was very happy with the result of the 3 videos in the campaign which has been viewed over 41.000 times combined.

      RESULTS: The responsive website I created helps Hyreshuset AB meet today’s increased use of mobile browsing and shopping, so they can keep the customers happy and increase their sales.

      PURPOSE: Provide the clients with great material to show potential investors the concept of a gamified workout app for recreational sports training and racing.
      ACTIVITIES: My team was responsible to take the project from design to coded prototype where the users of the app have the opportunity to compete with each other even if they don’t practice in the same sport. We developed the concept together with the clients based on weekly meetings and a close contact. When the concept was set, we split th team up and I continued to work on the design part together with another student while the rest of the team started to code.
      RESULTS: I deepened my skills of how to work with an app from concept to finished design, and the clients were really happy with the result.

      PURPOSE: Improve the user experience for iOS users.  to multitask.
      ACTIVITIES: Together with my team (3), I broke down the problems with todays apps and phones and identified the issue of multitasking and the inefficiency of the iOS control centre. So we decided to create a new, improved control centre based on our user research and user testing.
      RESULTS: We created a three pages layout were you can swipe between the different pages. The pages also got their own touch points for easier access.
