To be able to freelance and live a freelancing lifestyle is for many a dream. But it can feel overwhelming and hard to get started, and a lot of people feel alone in the process.

That’s why we exist!

We give people a chance to try out freelancing without having to register a company or worry about bookkeeping, contracts, and other admin stuff. You’ll also learn how you can increase your chances to succeed as a freelancer while growing your freelancing network and working towards your dream life.

It doesn’t cost anything to join Upbeater.X. If you’re accepted, it means that we believe in you as a freelancer and that we choose to invest in your growth until you start to make money. Once you start to make money you pay a % of your invoiced amount.

Level 1: Pay 15% of the amount that you invoice up until you have invoiced in total 100.000 sek.

Level 2: For everything over 100.000 sek, you only pay 10%.

We take care of the financial and legal aspects of your business, like bookkeeping, contracts, payroll, reporting, etc. You'll also get insurance, membership in our community, community support, and participation in our freelancing program consisting of 8 workshops uniquely developed to help you start and grow your freelance career:

1. The basics of running your own freelancing business (in Sweden)
2. Create a clear vision & set goals
3. Shape your freelance identity
4. Develop an attractive offer
5. Create awareness & generate interest
6. Find clients & get them to say YES
7. Manage projects & clients
8. Be your own boss (BYOB)

By the end of the program, you'll get a License to Freelance certificate.

Once you're accepted into the Freelance Accelerator you're expected to:

• Complete the License to Freelance course within 2 months (total about 12-15 hours)
• Participate in at least 4 of the weekly coaching calls during the first 2 months
• Use Upbeater.X to invoice your clients (to a minimum of 100.000 sek in total invoiced amount, or for at least 1 year, whatever comes first)

No, you don't need to complete the course before you start working with a client and use Upbeater.X services to do it.

This means that if you already have a client and are ready to start, you can do it right away and in parallel.

Note that you still need to complete the License to Freelance course within 8 weeks to keep using our services. 

You're responsible for finding your own clients and selling your offer, however, we teach you how and support you along the way.

Sometimes we also get requests from companies who want to work with our freelancers. Wen we do, we share it with the freelancers in our community.
